Combining elements of Lindsay’s hit podcasts 'American History Tellers,' 'American Scandal,' and 'History Daily,' this live theatrical event tells the story of six critical moments in American history that made our country what it is today — for better or worse.
Lindsay walks the audience through six turning points, drawn from the same primary sources that power his podcasts. Each is told as a story, not a lecture.
A three-piece band of veteran touring musicians — Jeff Ryan on drums, Tony Hormillosa on bass, James Henderson on guitar — scores each chapter with original compositions. Between them they’ve recorded and toured the globe with the likes of St. Vincent, The War on Drugs, and Daniel Johnston. Lindsay joins on second guitar.
The experience features projected archival imagery, stage lighting, live music -- and no fourth wall. Appropriate for the whole household.
